Human CLDN5 full length protein-synthetic nanodisc FLP100079
Specifications
| 10µg / 50µg / 100µg |
Alternative names:
AWAL; BEC1; CPETRL1; TMDVCF; TMVCF
Description:
Human CLDN5 full length protein-synthetic nanodisc
Background:
This protein is a member of the claudin family. Claudins are integral membrane proteins and components of tight junction strands. Tight junction strands serve as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space between epithelial or endothelial cell sheets. Mutations in this gene have been found in patients with velocardiofacial syndrome.
Protein families:
Transmembrane
Protein pathways:
Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs), Leukocyte transendothelial migration, Tight junction
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
CLDN5
Molecular weight:
The human full length CLDN5 protein has a MW of 23.1 kDa
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from nanodisc solubilization buffer (20 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0). Normally 5% - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions.
Usage:
Research use only
